Miss Heather Margaret Quinn (née Gelston) has passed away peacefully February 24. A resident of Verdun for over sixty years, she leaves to mourn her loving husband of fifty six years Joseph Quinn.
Together they raised their three children Kevin (Sherri), Ken, and Shannon (Ted) and doted on their grandsons Patrick and Taggart as best they could. Other than her immediate family, Heather leaves to mourn her brother John (Diane) and sister Barbara as well as her nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
The family wishes to thank each and every doctor, nurse, PAB, and other medical professional who cared for our Mom/Oma throughout her medical journey, especially the staff at the Verdun General Hospital’s Palliative Care Unit.
Cremation has taken place and Per Mom/Oma’s wishes there will be no funeral or memorial service. The immediate family will gather to celebrate Mom’s life at a suitable time.
Memorial donations in Heather’s name may be made to Dawson Community Centre (666 rue Woodland, Verdun, Québec H4H 1V8 – Donate | BGC Dawson | Montréal) or to a charity of your choice.
Rest in Peace Sweetheart/Mom/Oma. Until we meet again.
